Brent Toadlena is a 27 year old member of the great Navajo Nation. He was born to the Mescalero Apache People for the Salt People. Reared and raised on the reservation, Brent has a deep and spiritual connection to his homeland and his people. He attended and graduated from the two year art program at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, NM. Some of his interests include writing poems, preparing bead work, moccasin making, pow wow dancing, and playing his saxophone. One of his future goals is to complete a Bachelor of Music program at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ.
