A Navajo Weaver
An early image of a Navajo woman
at her loom, taken by the
photographer George Ben Wittick on glas plate negatives near the turn
of the century is available from the Centennial
Museum at the University of Texas, El Paso. They are also
experimenting with using short movies to show greater detail within
these images by giving a selection of closeup frames in a movie
format. Two of these are available for this image, the smaller, a
series of 320 × 240 pixel frames,
and the larger, a series of 540
× 405 frames.
